Step into a tranquil world of solitude as you make your way to this special fishing spot in the very North of Falcon Lake, surrounded by dense forests.  Breathe in the smell of damp leaves and bark as you make your cast to outmaneuver thick brush and weed beds and reach the shelter of savvy trout. Make sure to have your tackle for long distance casts at hand - quite a way offshore is the deepest part of Falcon Lake, a cold and abysmal Trout Lair. This is a genuinely unchartered territory with varying and unpredictable bottom and underwater terrain, so using strong tackle would definitely be a good idea if your aspirations go as high as landing a huge Trophy [[Rainbow Trout]].

This southernmost point of Falcon Lake is a marvelous fishing spot overlooking the lusciously colorful forest on the opposite bank. This secluded location with large boulders covered in green juicy moss is right next to a gently cascading waterfall that sparkles in rays of the setting sun. The rocky shallow bank with cool, crystal clear water and some rocks just further offshore is natural home to [[Cutthroat Trout]]. So put on your waders (wellie boots) and let the fishing begin!

The southernmost point of Falcon Lake is where the waters of a boisterous whitewater mountain river seem to relax and calmly flow into the crystal-clear aquatoria of this rocky basin. Here the steep-sided bank sharply drops into the reservoir’s abyssmal depth. The bottom in this area is rocky with occasional large boulders, a perfect hideout for [[Brown Trout]], [[Oregon Redband Trout]] and [[Rainbow Trout]]. Surrounded by pristine rocks, this place has that chilly mid-fall atmosphere that is just further emphasized by the moist fallen trees and wooden debris covering the stony bank here and there. Now, it may not be a cozy trip to Hawaii, but this place definitely has its hardcore natural charm that straightforwardly says “this is the great American outdoors” and makes it a simply irresistible destination for a real fishing escapade.

A deeply indented area of Falcon Lake’s rocky western shore hides a very remote and soothingly discreet fishing spot where the lake’s cold waters proceed on their neverending journey by falling into a small mountain river. By the large moss-grown boulders you can find a natural bridge of sorts, constructed by local anglers from massive fallen logs. The rocky shore ends here with some sharp drop-offs, dissappearing in the cold relatively shallow waters with an earthen bottom that are home to numerous [[Pumpkinseed]], [[Redbreast Sunfish]], [[Smallmouth Bass]], [[Rainbow Trout]] and [[Cutthroat Trout]].
