Topwater Kayak Cup
Welcome to the Topwater Kayak Cup tournament, where you’ll try your hand at catching a wide variety of fish with topwater lures following special rules! You’ll need to not only demonstrate your skills in catching big fish, but also to reach the Finish Point before the end of the tournament time! Travel to the most lucrative fishing locations of the world, from Lake Falcon in Oregon, through the Selenge River in Mongolia and Lake San Joaquin in California, to the semi-finals at Saint-Croix Lake, Michigan, and the final competition spot: Lake Maku-Maku in Peru! Fight for the title of champion and a prize pool of an impressive amount of Credits, BaitCoins, and unique fishing gear!
- Everyone is eligible to register and participate in the Tournament.
- All player level restrictions for visiting waterways in the Tournament-related States will be temporarily lifted for all players registered in the Tournament.
- Tournament registration fee covers all necessary Licenses for all the qualifying fish in the waterways of Tournament-related States. Licenses will be valid only for the duration of the Tournament for all participants regardless of their performance.
- Tournament Rounds include: 3 Qualifiers, Semifinal and Final Round. A player who is already qualified to compete in the Semifinal Round cannot participate in the remaining Qualifying Rounds.
- Winners of every Tournament Round are awarded in-game prizes.
- Players should use only spinning or casting rods with topwater lures.
- Players must arrive at the Finish Point before the end of the scoring time in order to complete the tournament stages.
- Boats usage during the tournament is allowed.
- Players must use a kayak, only the fish caught from kayak scores.
- Rod stand usage during the tournament is prohibited.
- Players must use a Keepnet. No Stringers are allowed.
- Only 10 fish from the player’s Keepnet will count in the Tournament. Any fish above that limit must be released.
- Winner is determined by the total weight of 10 fish in the Keepnet at the end of a Round.
- Each Qualifying Round last 20 hours. Within this period, players may choose a 2-hour time window to pass the Qualifier.
- Qualifier Results become available 4 hours after the end of a Qualifying Round.
- To get to the Semifinal Round a player must make it to the Top-20 in either one of the Qualifiers.
- Semifinal and Final Rounds of the Tournament are held in real time, lasting 2 hours simultaneously for all players.
- Only players who make it to the Top-20 in the Semifinal, will proceed to the Final Round.
