Description
The Great Barracuda (Sphyraena barracuda) is a medium-sized voracious predator found in warm waters across all oceans. Weighing up to 50 kg, it hunts in diverse environments – from shallow mangroves to deeper reefs – though it’s rarely seen below 110 m. This aggressive predator bites in any weather, day or night.Young Barracudas hunt in groups, while adults live and hunt alone.
