Hey angler, how about trying your luck in a heated Competition? Then head over to the beautiful swampy wetlands of Louisiana’s Quanchkin Lake to join the challenging and intense Catfish Trial! Catch all kinds of Catfish and compete with other anglers to prove yourself the ultimate Catfish champion!

  • Hunt for all Catfish species!
  • You can use only Keepnets, no Stringers allowed.
  • Rod stand usage during the tournament is prohibited
  • The winner is determined by the biggest Score at the end of the Competition.
  • You don't have to keep the fish to keep the Points.
  • The secondary score is based on the biggest single Catfish caught.

Scoring and forms:

  • Common Blue Catfish - 5 per 2 lb (kg)
  • Trophy Blue Catfish - 10 per 2 lb (kg)
  • Common Flathead Catfish - 3 per 2 lb (kg)
  • Trophy Flathead Catfish - 7 per 2 lb (kg)
  • Unique Flathead Catfish - 15 per 2 lb (kg)
  • Common Channel Catfish - 1 per 2 lb (kg)
  • Trophy Channel Catfish - 3 per 2 lb (kg)
  • Unique Channel Catfish - 6 per 2 lb (kg)
